AVI Systems CEO Jeff Stoebner Named to GPA Board Of Directors

Minneapolis December 28, 2020

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. — Dec. 28, 2020 —AVI Systems today announced the appointment of Jeff Stoebner, CEO, to the board of directors of GPA. GPA helps global enterprise organizations think and act global as they create workplaces that deliver an engaged workforce. Through collaboration tools and environments, GPA helps employees share knowledge, ideas and work together more effectively. AVI was named the Regional Business Unit for GPA in the United States earlier this year.

“Our industry continues to grow and AV will play an instrumental role in helping organizations adopt to the new hybrid workforce,” said Stoebner. “I’m excited to join the innovative board at GPA and help develop a pathway to brings communities of people together in the workplace for collaboration and achievement.”

Mr. Stoebner joined AVI Systems in 1993. After serving in the company’s technical services group, he then held the roles of sales representative and regional vice president before being named AVI’s vice president of marketing and chief operating officer. In 2009, Mr. Stoebner was named President and CEO responsible for the overall planning and direction of AVI Systems.

Previously, Mr. Stoebner served on the boards of both InfoComm and the International Communications Industries Foundation. He was named by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal as one of Minnesota’s “40 Under 40” in 2010. In 2011, he was named to the National Systems Contractor Association’s annual list of “Movers and Shakers.” He also was inducted into the Systems Contractor News 2015 SCN Hall of Fame.

Mr. Stoebner will serve a three-year term on the GPA board starting in 2021.
