We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Admin Intern to support our Sales team. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales operations and customer relationship management while learning about the Audio-Visual industry.
This ten-to-twelve week, paid internship begins in May at our Kansas City branch. You'll gain technical expertise, participate in impactful sales projects, and work alongside technical integration and sales professionals. Through a structured program combining introductory training and practical experience, you’ll take your first step toward an exciting career in the AV sales industry.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Provide administrative support to the Sales team, including assisting with sales plans, preparing proposals, and coordinating customer visits, presentations, and events.
- Work closely with Account Managers to respond to bid proposal requests and assist with day-to-day sales activities.
- Organize and maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales documentation.
- Act as a communication bridge between internal departments and customers to ensure smooth project coordination.
- Research and stay updated on AVI Systems' products, services, and industry trends to contribute effectively to the sales process.
What we Are Looking For:
- A highly organized and detail-oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A student or recent graduate with an interest in pursuing a career in sales, account management, or related fields.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM platforms is a plus.
- A self-starter with a passion for learning and a genuine interest in technology and the Audio-Visual industry.
- An adaptable and energetic team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
