Our Audio-Visual Integration Internship offers a hands-on opportunity to build foundational skills, gain real-world experience, and learn from industry professionals.
This ten-to-twelve week, paid internship begins in May, at our Minneapolis branch. You'll gain technical expertise, participate in impactful projects, and work alongside technical integration professionals. Through a structured program combining introductory training and practical experience, you’ll take your first step toward an exciting career in the AV industry.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Learn about AVI Systems and how this role contributes to our Proven Process for customer satisfaction.
- Plan and execute assigned configuration tasks and verify systems integration wiring connectivity and terminations in both setting.
- Analyze and resolve configuration issues and assist in system solutions analysis, design, and development.
- Assist in reviewing, implementing, and testing patch releases and system firmware upgrades.
- Provide technical support and help clients understand the functionality of AV equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of AV systems to ensure reliability.
- Document service activities and learn standard service procedures.
- Configure manufacturer applications, interfaces, and products.
What You Bring to Assure Success:
Education:
- Anticipated Associate’s/Bachelor’s/Trade School Certification
- A strong interest in audio-visual systems and technology.
- Basic technical aptitude with a willingness to learn new tools, systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer service mindset.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
