System Sales Specialist
POSITION OBJECTIVE
This position requires the person to have the experience and knowledge to sell design build; negotiate contract terms; make cost plus pricing agreements; sell fixed cost and direct service rates; make direct fact-to-face sales calls, and maintain long-term customer relationships.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
This position requires significant knowledge of and interest in the electronic communications industry. The System Sales Specialist must be able to visualize the integral relationships necessary to system integration; be motivated, self-disciplined, multi-tasking, and focused on achieving results through professional selling techniques. This person must focus on listening carefully, clarifying and restating application needs, resolving customer problems, and providing sound product/solution recommendations. A college degree is preferred, although “through-the-ranks” education and experience may be an adequate base for success in this position.
